Community Resilience Centers

CRC has partnered with the Community Infrastructure Center to enable program applicants and potential applicants to more easily find information, find project partners, and share knowledge with each other. The Community Infrastructure Center provides grant matching, a project readiness assessment, and an online forum to connect with resources, experts, and other communities advancing similar projects.

Join Our Channel:

After joining the Community Infrastructure Center, you will gain access to:
  • Grant matching from over 10,000 federal, state, and philanthropic grant opportunities.
  • Project management tool to track project activities and resources.
  • Customized project readiness score based on your project details.

The Community Infrastructure Center also offers a dynamic community feature where you can connect with like-minded individuals and organizations. You can join relevant channels and groups tailored to your project's focus. These vibrant hubs foster collaboration by creating a network of individuals dedicated to advancing similar projects. Interact with fellow members by sharing experience, guidance, ideas, and resources while harnessing the power of collective knowledge and innovation.

CRC's channel on the Community Infrastructure Center is an invite-only space for program applicants and potential applicants across California. This space will enable communities to share resources and motivation, build stronger relationships, and work together to solve shared problems.

The space will provide:

- Access to CRC program information including application deadlines, office hour signups, webinars, and access to CRC staff

- Discussions about the CRC program, useful resources, and the opportunities and challenges facing communities in California

- Space to share information about other programs and funding opportunities in the event that demand exceeds the funding allocated to this particular program

- The opportunity to connect directly with other members of this private space. This can be done via direct messaging on the platform if participants do not wish to make their personal contact information public, or through participating in the facilitated discussions

The Community Infrastructure Center provides project sponsors with automatic project-specific grant matchmaking from 10,000 federal, state, and philanthropic grant opportunities through its partnership with OpenGrants. Once a project sponsor submits a project readiness assessment, they are provided with an assessment report to outline major project areas requiring attention across:

  • Technical Readiness
  • Commercial Structure
  • Governance
  • Regulatory Environment
  • Impacts and Outcomes
  • Equity and Service Delivery
  • Risk

The Center then provides dedicated matchmaking to providers and knowledge base resources helpful to advance their project.
